The Mount Lyford art experience
Greetings from Christchurch! We flew to the other end of the world to reunite with a great friend in the land of the long white cloud. It turned into a road trip, a business project and an unexpected run-in with a street artist from Ghent.
Road trip, with sheep
From Christchurch we set out through the breathtaking landscapes of the northern part of Te Waipounamu, New Zealand’s South Island.
Driving through the endless meadows of Enzed, one question kept nagging: would we be ambushed by a herd of genetically modified woollybacks, like the ones in the horror flick Black Sheep? Spoiler: we survived.
Work, but make it scenic
We made it to colourful Mount Lyford in one piece and settled in to set up a new business project together. Work and friendship, at the far end of the planet. We can think of worse offices.

That mural behind us in Christchurch? Painted by ROA, the street artist from our very own Ghent. You travel halfway around the world, and a Ghent local got there first.
