The hill hunter game

The game is on!

How would you compare climbs with one another? Although nothing changes in the physical properties of a particular conquest, it will feel different every time. Maybe it's the weather conditions, or maybe it's just your state of mind... For many cyclists, an ascent is as difficult as the last time they experienced riding it. In addition to these subjective differences, a couple of crucial other factors play an important role in assessing the difficulty of a particular climb.

The Cotacol formula uses difficulty points based on the legendary Cotacol Encyclopedia from the 1980s. This study documents the ins and outs of 1000 slopes in Belgium. The two legendary cyclists who came up with these detailed elevation profiles also invented a sophisticated formula that calculates the difficulty levels of an ascent. The formula became a recognized standard work and is now widely used in books and websites all over the world.

Including the Cotacol climbing game!

I want to ride my bicycle,
I want to ride my bike...
